India Trip Day 6 - Varanisi


Early in the morning. We visited Sarnat. 15minutes by autorickshaw.

Sarnat is a one of 4 major Buddhist holy place. There were Many Tibetan pilgrim. Praying Tibetans in front of Damesek Stupa Sarnat's famous pagoda.





After noon, we went Ghanges tour. Very narrow streets in Varanisi.
We had a hard time to get out of the narrow street. 

At last, Ghanges was in my sight. Holy river, Mother Ghanga. Many Hindu pilgrims were there with religious posture.

Dashaswamet Ghat. Really crowded with people bathing or praying.

Indians seem to like bathing in the water.

A girl selling Dia(flower dish). Her name is Ricca.

We had a boat tour to Burning Ghat(Manikarnika Ghat)


Burning Ghat. No close photo allowed. because it is sort of a riligious ritual.

In the evening, we had a boat tour one more time. All members joined. We watched Puja(Hindu religious ritual) from boat. It was fantastic.

Some boys got on the boat to sell Dia. we bought some dias and flow them onto the Mother Ganges.

Dias are flowing with Ghanges with Hopes.
